The Role Reporting to the Regional Director, Mining – LAM, we are seeking a strategic and customer‑focused Senior Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of large enterprise accounts across Latin America. This key role within Seequent involves building long‑term strategic partnerships, understanding complex customer needs, and positioning Seequent as a trusted advisor. Success in this role requires strong account management capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. As a Senior Account Manager in Latin America, the focus is on growing existing customer relationships, fostering connections with key influencers, and being a customer‑centric expert. The role demands complex problem‑solving skills to turn business challenges into opportunities and to create and implement long‑term strategies for customers. Responsibilities Manage and grow a focused portfolio of enterprise‑level accounts, identifying opportunities to add value and drive revenue growth. Partner closely with the Regional Director, Mining – LAM to ensure sales activities align with company growth and profitability objectives. Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with enterprise clients by going higher, wider, and deeper within accounts, positioning Seequent as a strategic partner. Act as the strategic orchestrator, ensuring clear, well‑communicated account plans are developed and executed to maximize value for both Seequent and our clients. Lead and deliver polished, well‑organized Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that provide value to both internal stakeholders and customers. Ensure all customer activity, engagement, and opportunities are accurately captured and maintained within the CRM system. Monitor and analyze account health, providing regular internal updates, insights, and business reviews. Understand customer technical challenges and business needs, coordinating with appropriate Seequent teams to advance opportunities. Lead negotiations and close complex B2B sales contracts. Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts and annual revenue targets for assigned accounts. Qualifications Proven experience managing and closing large, complex enterprise deals. Minimum 7 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related commercial role. Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish proficiency is a strong asset. Strong relationship‑building skills with experience engaging C‑suite and senior decision‑makers. Demonstrated sales success with a consistent track record of exceeding targets. Expertise in consultative selling and tailoring solutions to customer needs. Excellent negotiation and contract‑management skills. Solid understanding of the SaaS and technology landscape. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute account plans. Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Self‑motivated, driven, and results‑oriented. Resilient and adaptable, with a positive mindset in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis to inform account strategy. Relevant sales certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are an advantage. Team‑oriented mindset with a strong focus on long‑term customer success. Well‑established professional network and understanding of industry trends and competitors. Working Conditions This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote work with time spent in one of our Latin American offices. Candidates must live within commuting distance of the listed locations or be willing to relocate. Alternative working arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates. While standard business hours apply, occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet customer needs and deadlines. The role involves working with a diverse client base, including complex and high‑impact situations that require strong interpersonal skills and resilience.
