Job Opportunity Patch management is a critical aspect of maintaining the security and stability of IT systems. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, deploying, and validating patches across servers and endpoints. Experience in interpreting vulnerability scan results from Tenable, Qualys, and Rapid7 to prioritize remediation efforts. Skill in assessing patch criticality, handling exceptions, and applying compensating controls when necessary. Familiarity with change management processes, maintenance windows, and ITIL-based practices. Understanding of Windows, Linux systems, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and basic networking concepts. Awareness of patching considerations in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Ability to generate patch compliance reports, audit evidence, and clear documentation.
