**LATMEX Sustainability Manager - AVP - CRS**
Citigroup Realty Services (CRS) is a division of Citigroup Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T), providing real estate support services to all Citigroup businesses. CRS is dedicated to providing all Citigroup businesses with premises that are cost-effective, safe, productive and valued by our customers as a strategic partner in their successes and by our employees.
The position will be a regional function supporting the delivery of sustainability in the services delivered to Citi by CRS across the Mexico/Latin America portfolio.
- 100% Renewable Electricity, Energy and Emissions Reductions Targes, Net Zero by 2030. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within design & construction, operations and maintenance, energy management and deep energy/decarbonization retrofits. Excellent communications skills to negotiate internally. Supports external communications required by Citi's public disclosure through Citi's Chief Sustainability Office.
**Responsibilities**:
To develop and maintain a robust, consistent, appropriate and cost-effective approach to Sustainability across LATAM buildings
- Provide end to end support of energy supply, energy use and energy performance for the regional real estate operations.
- Integrate key sustainability issues with specific business plans to achieve near term and long-term objectives
- Support/Advise Regional CRS team and business teams to implement energy optimization, water reduction and waste diversion initiatives
- Supports the implementation of CRS - Zero Carbon Building design and retrofit program development.
- Lead regional Wellness initiatives including LEED, WELL and EDGE certifications
- Develop strategy and roadmap to achieve Net Zero Waste
- Manage Sustainability data collection and reporting including energy and emissions tracking and forecasting.
- Support annual global reporting and disclosure of operational footprint data required for Citi's ESG Report, TCFD Report, CDP Climate Change Questionnaire and regional sustainability requests.
- Create targeted internal and external communications to promote Citi's success in sustainable initiatives and raise awareness to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years relevant experience in sustainable building design and operations
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, design/construction, engineering, finance, or related field; Master's degree a plus
- Professional Engineering or Energy Management license/certification beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to lead teams through unique challenges on projects while achieving goals and objectives
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills
- Experience in Sustainable Building rating systems including LEED and WELL with professional accreditation preferred
- Proficiency in English and Spanish required, Portuguese a plus

- Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project as well as industry standard project management tools.
- Financial Services experience preferred
