Language Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Brazilian-Portuguese interpreter to join our team in a challenging role that requires a strong background in translation and localization. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating products and business-related documents from English to Portuguese (Brazil) or from Chinese to Portuguese (Brazil) with precision and accuracy in a timely manner. Additionally, they will update and maintain the Portuguese (Brazil) termbase of products, perform product localization to improve user experience, and undertake other translation, localization, and relevant work as assigned.
- Translate complex texts with precision and accuracy within tight deadlines.
- Develop and maintain high-quality translations using CAT tools.
- Contribute to the development of terminology databases and style guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
- Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and one of the following languages: English or Chinese.
- Possess proven work experience in translation with linguistic certificates.
- Proficient in CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling.
- Experience in finance, securities, futures, and digital currency is preferred.
- Strong learning abilities, excellent communication, and coordination skills.
