Fintech Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

A platform engineer is responsible for building a new fintech payments platform. They will work in a highly technical environment collaborating with architects, backend engineers and security teams to deliver secure resilient cloud-native foundations. The role focuses on designing, building and automating the core infrastructure that powers high-scale financial transactions. The key responsibilities include design and implementation of scalable resilient cloud platform components in AWS, ownership of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and build of secure multi-account AWS environments following Well-Architected principles. Additionally, they will build internal platform tooling, automation templates and golden paths, support EKS/Kubernetes environments and microservice deployment foundations, implement monitoring alerting logging and distributed tracing, ensure SLAs/SLOs are met and contribute to disaster recovery design and resilience testing.
