Position OverviewOur hiring partner is seeking a skilled and innovative Full Stack Developer to help them build, maintain, and optimize scalable applications. You\'ll work primarily with React Native for the frontend and AWS/GCP for the backend, integrating Supabase for user authentication and management. Additionally, familiarity with Expo—a framework on top of React Native for adding native features to apps — and EAS (Expo Application Services) for deploying code to app stores is essential. You should be comfortable working across the full stack, with a strong focus on frontend and backend development, while ensuring performance, scalability, and security of applications.
Key Responsibilities- Frontend Development: Build responsive, user-friendly mobile applications using React Native and Expo, with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and design.
- Backend Development: Develop and maintain robust backend services using AWS or GCP to handle cloud infrastructure, data storage, and application logic.
- Supabase Integration: Implement and integrate Supabase for user authentication, database management, and real-time data syncing.
- API Development: Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs to enable communication between the frontend and backend.
- Expo & EAS: Use Expo to add native features to mobile apps, and leverage EAS (Expo Application Services) for deploying code to the app store.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to create innovative and functional solutions.
- Optimization & Performance: Ensure high performance, scalability, and security for all applications. Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during development or in production.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage cloud resources and services, ensuring cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability using AWS or GCP.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Frontend: Proven experience with React Native and Expo for building cross-platform mobile applications.
- Backend: Expertise in AWS and/or GCP, including cloud infrastructure, serverless architectures, and database management.
- Authentication: Experience with Supabase for user authentication, management, and real-time data features.
- Languages: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in modern ES6+ features.
- Databases: Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases.
- APIs: Experience with building, consuming, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Expo & EAS: Familiarity with Expo framework for adding native features to apps and EAS (Expo Application Services) for deploying code to the app store.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control and collaboration.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based authentication methods.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
