- Make purchases of raw materials and equipment that require technical knowledge of the product;
- Establish, update and activate a base of suppliers of materials (Brazil and abroad) and services to ensure quality in supply. Act in the development of suppliers and make price quotations, defining / indicating the most favorable conditions for the purchase. Usually buys materials in large volumes and high values. Negotiate with suppliers the feasibility of contracts or spot purchase with price analysis;
- Provide assistance to the commercial areas, services and parts for the development and maintenance of suppliers. Calculate the costs of raw materials;
- Implement and monitor orders for national and imported parts. Analyze the shopping requests evaluating availability;
- Conduct market research, prices and suppliers. Follow market trends. Prepare studies of variable costs and budget provisions;
- Issue authorizations and inform the area about data relevant to the purchasing process;
- Update computerized database, prices, financial charges, taxes and packaging.
