Lower School Music Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Music Educator to join our Lower School team at Gávea campus.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy and Music; 3-5 years of experience as a Lower School Music Teacher - preferred if in an international school context; the ability to adapt to multilingual classrooms; a growth mindset with a strong commitment to professional development; a passion for innovative instruction; and, most importantly, a focus on student-centered learning.
They will contribute to a community that is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and equitable, where everyone experiences a strong sense of belonging.
This role requires collaboration with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate should be able to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to ongoing learning and self-improvement is essential for success in this position.
