Business Development Representative

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Representative to help expand our client base and strengthen strategic partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates with confidence, and knows how to open doors, build relationships, and turn conversations into long-term business opportunities. This is a client-facing role that blends strategy, relationship-building, and execution. You'll work with both B2B and B2C prospects, represent the brand with professionalism and charisma, and collaborate closely with internal teams to drive sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities across B2B and B2C markets Conduct outbound outreach via calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking opportunities Lead discovery conversations to understand client needs, challenges, and goals Present products or services clearly and persuasively, tailoring messaging to different audiences Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, partners, and stakeholders Manage the full early sales cycle, from first contact to handoff or close (depending on structure)Maintain accurate records of activities, pipelines, and forecasts in CRM tools Collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to refine go-to-market strategies Represent the company at events, meetings, and industry opportunities when needed Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer behavior Requirements & Qualifications Proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, or similar role Strong background working with B2B and/or B2C sales cycles Excellent spoken and written English (near-native or fluent)Confident communicator with strong negotiation and persuasion skills Charismatic, professional, and comfortable engaging with decision-makers Experience conducting discovery calls and qualifying leads Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Comfortable with CRM tools and modern sales platforms Willingness and ability to travel when required Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset Nice to Have Experience working with international clients or distributed teams Background in tech, services, SaaS, or professional services Familiarity with outbound sales frameworks and prospecting strategies Experience attending or representing companies at conferences or events What We're Looking For in This Person Curious, proactive, and growth-oriented Comfortable initiating conversations and handling objections Adaptable and able to adjust communication style to different cultures and audiences Resilient, organized, and motivated by results Professional presence with a human, relationship-first approach
