Tax Analyst

Tax Lawyer - Alphaville Join Corteva Agriscience as a proactive and detail-oriented tax lawyer to support our tax litigation team and compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities Assist senior tax lawyers in managing tax litigation cases, including preparation and analysis. Engage with external law firms and legal partners to discuss cases. Draft legal documents, opinions, and responses to tax authorities. Conduct legal research on tax legislation, case law, and administrative rulings. Monitor ongoing tax disputes, ensure compliance with deadlines, and prepare reports for audit purposes. Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant documentation and information. Stay informed on news, legislative changes, and rulings related to tax matters. Monitor and control invoices and payments to external law firms and tax advisors. Coordinate with the Accounts Payable team for timely processing of legal fees and tax-related expenses. Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, and payment confirmations for audit and compliance. Track and manage renewal and validity of tax compliance certificates (federal, state, municipal). Ensure company compliance through documentation and reporting requirements. Utilize technological tools, AI, and ERP systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law; graduation within the last 4 years. Registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). Previous experience in tax law and tax litigation. Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Interest in innovative and technological solutions. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications. Proficiency in English is desirable.
