Overview Import Operations Management Ensure compliance with all applicable customs laws and regulations Calculate and manage import-related costs Conduct cost-benefit analyses for different transportation options and logistics routes Maintain strong business relationships Skills, qualifications and experiences Knowledge of import processes (such as customs clearance, Incoterms, and foreign trade regulations). Knowledge of required documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Import Declaration, etc.). Familiarity with computerized import management systems and shipment tracking software (such as Conexos) and data analysis tools. Basic understanding of customs and tax regulations (Import Taxes, ICMS, PIS/COFINS). Intermediate English or Spanish. Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
