Responsible for the optimal operational commissioning and maintenance off all production resources.

**What you'll be doing**
Key elements of your role include:
- Participating in decision-making about the maintenance of the machines
- Supervising trainees on the work floor
- Setting up first line maintenance
**Operational tasks - Corrective maintenance**
- Analyzing and resolving breakdowns in the event of unplanned machine downtime (in collaboration with the supplier)
- Sourcing and collecting the necessary parts and components (mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic)
- Carrying out measurements based on diagrams, manuals, etc., on components in relation to Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic performance
- Resolving faults and breakdowns by repairing or replacing parts and components
- Reporting about breakdowns that involve major repair work or a special approach
- Maintaining relationships with, and providing guidance to, suppliers
**Operational tasks - Modifications**
- Researching the possibilities for modifications or additions to the existing production resources
- Making assessments, based on previous experience, about the extent to which modifications and additions are possible, and a rough estimate of the costs involved
- Implementing changes in existing switching systems to increase the processing speed or to reduce the risk of breakdowns
**Operational tasks - Preventive maintenance**
- Assuring compliance with all the requirements in relation to safety, statutory rules, internal rules, health, environment, and quality
- Carrying out preventative maintenance in accordance with the set standards and procedures
- Carrying out and/or supervising maintenance stops carried out by internal employees, contract workers, and suppliers
- Management and coordination of repairs to hand tools
- Making recommendations about new investments, participating in new projects
**Continuous Improvement**
- Contributing ideas for the continuous improvement of the work process
- Participating in improvement projects, and giving advice to the project leaders about machines
**What we're looking for**
- A qualification at intermediate vocational level, in electrical engineering and/or mechatronics, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge and experience mechatronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Command of local language and English at intermediate vocational level
- Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage
