Allied is seeking an Investment Analyst for an established Lehigh Valley financial services firm.

Along with a competitive salary of $65,000-85,000/yr, the position offers benefits, 401k, bonus opportunity, and generous PTO.

In this role you will be responsible for for portfolio performance monitoring, manager and macroeconomic research, internal servicing, and direct client service:

  • prepare, update, and distribute performance reports for client portfolios on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis
  • work across multiple sources including brokerage, recordkeeping, and trust platforms to assimilate performance data into reporting systems
  • use modeling software to recommend asset allocation strategies aligned w/ client objectives
  • manipulate and analyze large data sets in Excel to analyze investment performance
  • conduct research on potential/existing investment managers
  • monitor macroeconomic data, market trends, and geopolitical events that could impact investment performance

Candidates for this role must have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar field. Advanced MS Excel skills are critical (pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas). Successful candidates will also have strong analytical and problem solving skills w/ an exceptional attention to detail. FINRA Series 7 and 66 are strongly preferred - will need to be obtained w/in a few months of hire if not currently held.
