About the Role We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to replace a departing team member and take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, autonomous, and experienced with small‑business accounting workflows. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting tasks using QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Generate and send invoices using Google Suite templates. Handle payment processing and collections to ensure timely cash flow. Coordinate through Slack, email, and Zoom for internal communication. Maintain secure organisation of documents in Google Drive. Support booking and payment workflows for off‑site science/art programs (experience in this area is a plus). Requirements 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive). Proven experience with invoicing, reconciliations, and collections. Reliable internet, computer, and work setup. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Availability to work 9 a.m.–1 p.m. EST.
