Senior Product Manager, Payroll — Remote

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global payroll space. You will develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, and work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that provide an exceptional payroll experience. You will lead within your development team and collaborate with internal experts across operations, compliance, sales, product marketing, and more to build a scalable payroll platform for 80+ markets worldwide.

What You Bring
  • Experience as a senior product manager in a multi-product, high-growth scale-up.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and HR functions; hands-on payroll software experience preferred.
  • Experience launching products or features that leveraged AI.
  • Good judgment for strategic prioritization and tactical scope decisions.
  • Data-driven with experience setting and tracking goals to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across departments (operations, business, sales, finance, etc.).
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Can-do attitude with collaborative problem-solving and speed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Help build the future of payroll with senior product leaders at Remote.
  • Lead efforts across engineering, design, and operations to launch high-impact projects.
  • Deliver outcomes that differentiate Remote; collaborate with engineers, designers, and operations to build elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Shape and deliver improvements in focused areas of the product and advance key KPIs.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to connect roadmaps to stakeholder needs; model asynchronous workflows and transparency.
  • Use AI tools to increase productivity, decision-making, and workflow efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

Remote’s total rewards philosophy includes fair, unbiased compensation and equity pay with competitive benefits in all locations. Base salaries are determined by role, level, location and market demands. The annual salary range for this full-time position is $54,900—$154,400 USD.
