Android Tech Lead - Remote Work | REF# Join BairesDev as an Android Tech Lead, overseeing the technical direction of Android app development projects. With your extensive knowledge of Android development, Kotlin or Java, and mobile app best practices, you'll guide a team of developers in crafting high-performance Android applications, setting a benchmark for innovation and technical prowess in mobile app development. What you will do Define the technical direction and strategy for Android development projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals. Lead and manage a team of Android developers, setting clear objectives and fostering professional development. Oversee the entire lifecycle of Android application development, from conception to deployment. Ensure the adoption of best software development practices, with a focus on Android and related technologies. Stay abreast of the latest trends in Android development, evaluating and incorporating cutting‑edge technologies and methodologies. Facilitate effective communication between the Android development team and other stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and project success. What we are looking for 7+ years of experience with Android development. Proficient in Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient project delivery and team collaboration. In-depth knowledge of Design Patterns. Advanced IT infrastructure knowledge. Strong experience in application security best practices. Proven track record in developing and integrating large‑scale applications. Expertise in both back‑end and front‑end development areas. Skilled in conducting code reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines. Expert understanding of client’s requirements, assessing potential benefits and weaknesses. Advanced knowledge of the trade‑offs involved in choosing specific technologies or solutions. Strong experience leading client and stakeholder meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts. Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, task allocation, risk identification, decision‑making, task estimation, conflict resolution, and project planning. Advanced level of English.
