Medical Technologist/ Medical Laboratory Technician

Position Details:
- Employment type: Part-time
- Seniority level: Entry level
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Following laboratory procedures for specimen collection, handling, processing, test analysis, and reporting;
- Maintaining quality control policies and documenting related activities;
- Identifying indicators that may impact test performance and notifying supervisors as needed;
- Ordering and distributing laboratory supplies;
- Adhering to safety policies and providing excellent customer service;
- Fostering teamwork and completing additional duties as assigned.
Minimum education and experience requirements:
- At least 18 years of age;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Keyboarding skills and excellent communication skills;
- One year of clerical or clinical experience preferred;
- Minimum 60 semester hours in relevant sciences or an associate degree in related fields;
- Certification by ASCP or equivalent preferred; registry-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
