Remote Baker Job

We are seeking a skilled baker to participate in an innovative research project. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking and be comfortable wearing a head-mounted camera while working.

The purpose of the project is to collect real-world footage for training AI systems. As a remote baker, you will join a team collecting data on various daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Wear a head-mounted camera capturing daily baking activities for 5 separate days within a 2-week window.

  2. Record a minimum of 7 hours per day with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera for privacy.

  3. At the end of each day, spend around 2 hours:

    • Upload footage to a secure platform.

    • Review short clips.

    • Choose to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment.

Requirements

  1. No children under 18 present or visiting during the recording period.

  2. All adults in the space must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.

  3. The participant must live in a private self-contained apartment building indoor work environment.

  4. All household members must agree to appear in the footage.

Participant Qualifications

  1. The participant must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or child care).

  2. Participants sharing the same workplace or household should both have a GoPro mounted during activity.

  3. Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, artist, carpenter, musician, electrician, mechanic).

  4. The participant must be self-employed or have employer consent to record in the work environment.

  5. Able to use a computer for basic tasks such as reviewing and uploading video clips.
