Associate Release Manager/Senior Release Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Associate Release Manager/Senior Release Coordinator to join our value team. Our client is a forward-thinking, growth-oriented healthcare services and technology company that provides state-of-the-art pharmacy solutions. The Release Coordinator will coordinate, monitor, and communicate Software Releases from inception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate releases, ensure initiatives and quality, and meet all timelines
  • Coordinate cross-departmental release management activities and deliverables
  • Schedule and facilitate daily/weekly/bi-weekly Scrum meetings/events
  • Act as a Single Point Of Contact for multiple teams (3 to 4 teams)
  • Collaborate with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Technical Leads, QA Leads, the Release Management Team, and others
  • Support release execution by monitoring each phase of the release
  • Work with remote cross-functional teams to align release schedule and sign off for each release
  • Ensure observance of DoD (Definition of Done)
  • Monitor release progress by tracking activity, engaging related parties, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
  • Construct workflow diagrams and documentation using Miro, Confluence, JIRA and other tools
  • Identify problems and improve procedures to strengthen controls
  • Maintain teams' confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Perform periodic reviews and analysis of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Assist in creating informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights trends and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Release Coordinator/Release Manager, Scrum Master
  • Bachelor's degree in management, communications, or a technical field (IT, computer science, or engineering)
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong understanding of Atlassian applications (JIRA/Confluence)
  • Ability to lead projects with cross-functional teams across multiple levels
  • Detail-oriented, analytical; a lifelong learner
  • Ability to work independently and with others, across multiple time zones, with focus on US Eastern Time Zone (GMT-4)
  • English – Advanced. Excellent command of English with strong grammar, spelling, and writing clarity
  • Extremely organized and resilient with strong time-management skills
