Software Test Engineer

Job TitleSoftware Test Engineer Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, document, and executemanual and automated test cases based on functional and technical specifications. Ensure testing complies withmedical software regulations (e.g, FDA guidelines). Analyze requirements and specifications to identify gaps, ambiguities, and risks early in the development cycle. Investigate, reproduce, and report software defects withclear, concise, and well-documented bug reports . Performregression testing , integration testing , and acceptance testing . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure defects aretracked, prioritized, and resolved . Implementtest automation for desktop applications using UiPath or equivalent tools. Optimize test coverage by balancingmanual and automated strategies . Monitor and maintaintest environments including Windows servers, domain controllers, and client systems. Write and executecomplex SQL queries (Microsoft SQL Server) for data validation, test preparation, and troubleshooting. Mentor junior testers and contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and tools. Required Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a Senior Test Analyst, QA Engineer, or similar role, preferably inregulated industries (medical, pharma, aerospace). Strong understanding ofWindows architecture , including domain controllers, server-client relationships, and network configurations. Advanced knowledge inMicrosoft SQL (T-SQL), including writing and optimizing queries, joins, and stored procedures. Experience indesktop test automation tools, ideally UiPath, but open to other similar solutions. Excellentdefect reporting and documentation skills, with attention to reproducibility and clarity. Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal). Stronginvestigative mindset for diagnosing and closing complex defects. Ability to workindependently while maintaining strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity withAgile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred SkillsExperience withmedical software compliance standards . Knowledge ofperformance and load testing techniques. Knowledge ofcontinuous integration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Github, etc). Exposure and understanding of automation tools and practices Knowledge of cloud computing ( AWS ). Understanding ofHL7 Messaging Key CompetenciesAnalytical and methodicalproblem-solving skills . High attention to detail andcommitment to quality . Knowledge withTest Case Design/Test Execution Understanding ofdefect management for healthcare software. Proactive in identifying risks and process improvements. Strong mentoring and leadership abilities. Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
