- Ashoka Changemakers is building a global movement where anyone, anywhere, can take action to solve a social problem in in their community. We work to build this movement by supporting social entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders, policy makers, and activists who are changemaking, by delivering ground-breaking analysis, by accelerating intrepreneurship, and creating strong partnerships that will drive the movement forward.
- Our Theory of Change
- Much like what we did with the field of social entrepreneurship, we are seeking to drive a mindset shift in society by helping people see differently. To do this, we are taking collective action with powerful players in education, government, and media who are equally dedicated to our Everyone a Changemaker vision. We cannot reach every child ourselves, but by activating a carefully selected cross-cutting network of collaborators, we can set in motion an irreversible shift towards a future where everyone understands that empathy and changemaking are essential to a child’s success in growing up.
- Role Summary.
- The Experience Design Manager at Changemakers plays a critical role in leading the strategy and execution of superior user experiences across our platform and connected services.
- Role Description
- Responsibilities- Strategic UX Leadership: Develop and implement UX strategies that align with Changemakers' objectives, ensuring a seamless user experience.-
- UX Research and Insights: Lead user data analysis to drive design improvements based on analytics and user feedback.-
- Design and Wireframing: Supervise the creation of wireframes, page designs, and visual elements, ensuring adherence to design standards.-
- Visual Communication Design: Direct visual design initiatives to support communication efforts, clearly conveying new developments.Technical Support: Provide essential technical support, especially during peak times or challenges, to maintain platform stability and address user issues promptly.-
- Collaboration: Ensure effective collaboration with team members, fostering a culture of innovation and adherence to UX principles.-
- Quality Assurance and Stakeholder Communication: Guarantee that all designs and technical solutions meet project standards and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.-
- Innovation and Continuous Learning: Explore and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance user experience and provide technical support.- Deliverables- In-depth user experience reports and actionable recommendations.-
- High-quality wireframes and designs using Figma.-
- Supportive visuals for communication and marketing initiatives.-
- Comprehensive user guides and documentation for ease of use.-
