FREELANCE DIGITAL DESIGNER
**Responsibilities**:
- Create highly impactful visual designs and typography treatments on campaign-to-campaign basis in support of our overarching marketing strategies and further develop and evolve a consistent brand identity that helps us stand out in a crowded landscape
- Help execute each phase of the design process—from research, ideation and visual design, prototyping, testing, and launch.
- Ensure continuity in visual messaging across all digital channels
- Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely digital innovation and trendsetting
- Help establish and maintain brand and style guidelines across all digital channels
- Work effectively with designers on the Design, Social and Video teams
- Collaborate with Dev, eComm teams & agency partners for prototyping and testing
- Create short form/IG/YTB videos from brand video assets for social channels, and online advertising across all devices
- Track, design and manage timelines for high volume editorial and promotional campaigns
- Turn around edits and overhauls within 24 hours of receiving edits
- Strong coordination with Executive Creative and Digital Marketing teams are a must
**Requirements**:
- 7+ years of experience as a digital/web designer; min 3+ years in a senior role (agency or in-house creative department preferred) specifically working on landing pages, digital campaigns, and leading design projects in a team setting
- Keen eye for clean design, conceptual thinking and execute tactical direction both flawlessly and efficiently with attention to detail
- Thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced work environment and help the team push the visual brand story to the next level
- Possess knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development and digital marketing and the creative process
- Mobile-first mentality
- Beauty or Retail experience on an eCommerce-focused design team, preferred
- Have strong understanding and working knowledge of both digital and print advertising in all facets and stages of development
- Strong foundation in typography, layout skills, color, image manipulation and understanding of branding
- Proficient in Adobe CS Suite (expert Photoshop) After Effects, Figma & Asana (beneficial).
- Knowledge of post-production and retouching process
- Strong photo retouching skills for the ability to replicate across digital mediums
- Ability to work independently on assignments from concept to completion and execute all steps in between with mínimal direction.
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities/projects at the same time
- Ability to form and maintain relationships among our team and cross-functionally
- Confidence and experience in working directly with Executive level, speaking on behalf of the team and your work.
- BFA/BA in Design, Digital Design
- Self-motivated, passionate about design in general and collaborative approach to work
