We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Platform Engineer to design and manage robust data platforms across AWS and GCP environments.

This role requires strong expertise in Amazon EMR, Google Cloud Dataproc, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions that empower data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy big data clusters utilizing Amazon EMR and Google Cloud Dataproc
  • Automate infrastructure configuration and deployment using Ansible and Terraform
  • Manage and optimize containerized environments through Kubernetes
  • Develop cloud-native solutions for data storage, processing, and integration workflows
  • Troubleshoot and optimize distributed systems and data pipelines for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement business-driven cloud solutions
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across cloud environments
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes for cloud infrastructure
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for cloud-based big data platforms
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon EMR and Google Cloud Dataproc in production
  • Advanced expertise in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation
  • Strong background in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP for infrastructure and data solutions
  • Deep knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and security in cloud environments
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in large-scale cloud systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an effective team-oriented mindset
Nice to have
  • Hands-on familiarity with extended services across AWS and GCP
  • Background in using Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools for automation
  • Skills in designing and implementing hybrid or multi-cloud solutions
