Job Opportunity: Payroll Transformation Specialist We are seeking a skilled professional to support a large-scale Workday-to-ADP payroll transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end payroll processing across Workday and ADP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with payroll rules. This role requires strong hands-on experience testing ADP payroll solutions, deep understanding of gross-to-net calculations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute test cases for Workday-to-ADP payroll integrations, including end-to-end payroll cycles. Validate payroll processing results, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and gross-to-net calculations across ADP platforms. Review and validate data mapping and transformations between Workday and ADP. Test inbound and outbound interface files between Workday and ADP, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to defined formats. Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for payroll-related processes. Log, track, and document defects using defect management tools, working with technical and functional teams to drive timely resolution. Support parallel payroll testing cycles by comparing legacy and new payroll results, identifying and analyzing variances. Collaborate closely with Workday configuration teams, ADP SMEs, payroll operations, and project managers to clarify requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, scripts, scenarios, and status reports. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5–7 years of hands-on experience testing ADP payroll solutions. Practical experience with one or more of the following: ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and/or ADP Workforce Now. Strong knowledge of payroll rules, calculations, and end-to-end gross-to-net processing (earnings, deductions, benefits, taxes). Experience testing payroll integrations, including validation of inbound and outbound interface files. Ability to design and execute test cases, analyze results, and document defects in a structured way. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy. Experience working in cross-functional, global environments with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Nice to Have / Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Workday payroll configuration and Workday payroll interface (WPI) or similar Workday outbound interfaces. Experience with large-scale payroll transformation or migration projects. Prior experience working with global payroll across multiple countries and legal entities. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and working within structured project frameworks. Engagement Details: This is a contract position supporting a Workday-to-ADP payroll transformation initiative. Candidates may be based in the US, Brazil, or India and must be comfortable collaborating with distributed, multicultural teams located in multiple time zones.
