Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to organizational information systems and software applications.
- Maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications.
- Conceptualize a new application project, - Recommend technical resources and strategies.
- Design the requirements for the project.
- Identify and implement strategic solutions.
- Translate business needs into long-term application architecture solutions.
- Assign programming and development tasks to the technical staff.
- Take on more complicated programming responsibilities.
- Resolves any technical issues during the project.
- Evaluate, test, and modify the application until the functionality meets business goals.
- When the application is finished, provide documentation, training and support. Qualifications/Education:
- Degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous Experience. Desired Requirements:
- Fluent in XML.
- Experience in data modeling. Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of hardware/software implementation practices and the SDLC.
- Experience with intranet/extranet, workflow, BI, and integration solutions.
- Experience using UML and design patterns.
- Experience using ESB, .NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Web Services.
