Overview

As a Principal Tax you will be a key leader in shaping the future of our organization's tax strategy and positioning us for continued success. You will leverage your technical expertise and analytical prowess to uncover transformative tax savings opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's overall tax planning strategy to optimize tax efficiency and minimize the organization's tax liabilities.
  • Develop comprehensive tax planning solutions tailored to evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
  • Analyze complex tax laws, regulations, and incentives to identify innovative ways to optimize the company’s tax position.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to align tax planning with broader business objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate the implementation of approved tax planning strategies, ensuring proper documentation and execution.
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and legal teams to ensure tax planning supports overall business objectives.
  • Prepare detailed tax planning recommendations and proposals, presenting them to senior leadership for approval.
  • Support advisory projects across regions, including coordination with external advisors, government bodies, tax authorities, and auditors.

A day in the life
This position is not directly involved in day-to-day indirect taxes compliance but is responsible for delivering advisory planning, real-time coordination, and communication of various tax-related projects across regions.

Basic Qualifications
  • Solid tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
  • Advanced to fluent in English.
  • Experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Essbase and Oracle Financial Applications.
  • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, or J.D.
  • Experience maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex).
