Purpose of Position :

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer for our Belo Horizonte office to join a team developing Hexagon Mining products. The role involves all stages of the software development lifecycle and uses technologies including C#, .net Core, TypeScript, React, MQTT, C++, etc.. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop and maintain software applications, help architects with designs, workflows and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the system.

Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality is essential.

Major Areas of Responsibility :

• Development and maintenance of applications with C#, .net Core backend.
• Development and maintenance of applications with React / Typescript frontend.
• Translate designs and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs and devise solutions of these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Knowledge and Experience - Required :

• Intermediate English
• Programming / API knowledge
• Open to learn and work with other technologies
• Skill for writing reusable libraries / Components
• Familiarity with Databases (Postgres or SQL, etc..) to analyze and write high-performance queries
• C#, .net Core
• React / Typescript
• Object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Knack for writing clean, readable code
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Rest, WebAPI, Webservices
• Familiarity with continuous integration

Knowledge and Experience - Desired :

• Knowledge and experience with SCRUM process or other Agile Methodologies
• Experience with MQTT or DDS or other message queuing protocol
• Desired : Knowledge in one of, and general familiarity in : C++, ROS
• Development and maintenance of unit tests
• Experience with high-performance software applications
• Fluent English
• Docker
• Linux Commands
• Familiarity with popular web application frameworks
• Familiarity with CI / CD Tools such as Bamboo
• Familiarity with issue tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Familiarity with Bitbucket
