With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed every day, the laboratories of the Eurofins clinical diagnostic services business line strive to ensure that every patient, wherever he or she lives, has access to the most specialized and most innovative techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutic decisions. Such activities require extensive planning and organisation which can be augmented by the use of technology. Our Clinical LIMS Europe Program will extensively be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe, this role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap. Job Description / ResponsibilitiesIn a nutshell: In this role, you will work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team developing enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting the LIMS multiple customers. Where will you be based and what business will you support? Flexible location but must be available 6+ hours BST. How can you help us? Estimate the complexity and the workload Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements Reach the optimal requirement artifact Design, develop and deploy changes to the LIMS according to the customers’ and business users’ requirements Support the LIMS in collaboration with other team members Work with Engineers/QA to ensure high quality delivered solutions Ensure good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed QualificationsAre you our kind of extraordinary? 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL Strong server-side development knowledge with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11c or later) Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban Collaborative with Business Analysts and Software Architect(s) Some experience in test driven development and test automation Comfortable in unit testing and mocking with Delphi Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions Azure DevOps Additional InformationAs the role and Eurofins' IT Talent Acquisition team are international, please ensure to submit your application in English.
