We are looking for a seasoned Credit Data Analyst with outstanding analytical skills to join Credix’s Risk & Data team in our São Paulo office. The ideal candidate should have extraordinary analytical capabilities with very strong SQL and Python skills and experience with credit underwriting in Brazil .


Requirements

  • 2-4 years of work experience as a Data Analyst (B2B SME credit risk underwriting strongly preferred but not required).
  • Advanced English and Portuguese (written and verbal).
  • Extensive experience with SQL and Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Curious and passionate to learn new things and think outside the box.
  • Understanding of feature engineering. Previous experience in Analytics Engineering tools (e.g Airflow, dbt, pyspark) highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Brazilian market credit dynamics.
  • Experience/knowledge with Machine Learning is a plus


Responsibilities

  • Leverage Experimentation and Advanced Data Analytics: Derive insights by dissecting complex data and translating it into actionable strategies to optimize credit underwriting.
  • Optimize Purchasing Power: Determine and fine-tune purchasing power limits to balance risk and growth, driving healthy buyer engagement and maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers and businesses.
  • Underwriting Cost Efficiency: Play a pivotal role in managing risk, underwriting cost savings, and improving profitability for our B2B transactions.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to build effective credit risk capabilities, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our risk models.
