DevOps Infrastructure Automation Specialist This role plays a crucial part in driving the adoption of cloud platform capabilities by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities and Duties Deploy and configure AWS Cloud Services; Deploy and configure Kubernetes resources; Help elaborate or contribute to technical solutions documentation; Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for observability; Develop automated backup strategies, define disaster recovery plans, and implement security best practices; Automate deployment processes, security checks, and operational workflows through integrations. Essential Skills and Qualifications Experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management; Hands-on experience with IaC tools, ideally Terraform and Helm Charts; Proficiency in containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes); Knowledge of CI/CD tools like CircleCI and GithubActions; Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC); Strong knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments; Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, or Python). Highly Desirable Skills and Certifications Networking and Security - Familiarity with DNS, Zero Trust, load balancing, IAM, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices; Monitoring and Observability - Experience using Datadog, CloudWatch; Experience with Kubernetes package managers (e.g. Helm, Kubectl); AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
