If so, we want to hear from you About InfluenceMap And The Opportunity InfluenceMap is a globally recognized non‑profit think tank driving change on climate and sustainability. We produce cutting‑edge, objective research on how businesses and finance impact the climate crisis, working collaboratively across corporate, finance, public, civil society, and media sectors. InfluenceMap is best known for its LobbyMap platform, which analyzes corporate advocacy and policy engagement activities related to climate change and biodiversity loss. Our work has been featured in the media globally, used by hundreds of investors, and informed numerous climate campaigns. Other workstreams include the FinanceMap platform, which assesses the climate credentials of the financial sector, and the Carbon Majors platform, which tracks emissions from the world’s largest polluters. With offices in London, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, Canberra, and Brussels, we’re a team of 70+ dynamic professionals shaping the climate agenda worldwide. We are seeking a Latin America Program Manager based in Brazil (our office is in São Paulo) to drive our growing work across Latin America. This role is perfect for someone with roots in the region’s climate, nature, and corporate accountability space who thrives at building partnerships, understanding market needs, and translating complex research into regional impact. You will lead our strategy across key Latin America markets—including Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico—working with our talented analyst team to ensure our research and engagement respond to what the region needs. This is an opportunity to shape how corporate climate advocacy is understood and addressed across Latin America. At present, we have three analysts based in Brazil, and our work in Latin America is supported by our global teams based in London, New York, and Tokyo. What You’ll Do Partner & Stakeholder Engagement Build and manage strategic relationships with key partners across Latin America, including investors, corporate, NGOs, policymakers, and civil society organizations Coordinate high‑profile engagements with companies, financial institutions, and policy actors to advance climate and nature accountability in the region Represent InfluenceMap at regional events, convenings, and in strategic discussions with senior stakeholders Regional Strategy Develop and drive the organisation's emerging strategy for Latin America, with a focus on priority markets Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Mexico Monitor and analyze the regional climate, biodiversity, and broader sustainability landscape—understanding policy developments, corporate dynamics, and stakeholder priorities Guide our content and research priorities based on a deep understanding of what the market needs and how to maximize impact Ensure our platforms and outputs are relevant, timely, and responsive to regional developments Research & Content Management Learn and apply InfluenceMap's platform methodologies (particularly LobbyMap, as well as FinanceMap and Carbon Majors to a lesser extent) to support the team's research goals, provide technical oversight, and quality‑check their work Manage the production of high‑quality content for media, investors, and other external stakeholders in the region Ensure timely delivery of platform updates and regional research products that meet InfluenceMap's rigorous standards Team Collaboration & Development Collaborate with and support a talented group of analysts working in the region May grow into direct line management responsibilities as the regional team expands Work seamlessly with global teams across different time zones and regional programs Contribute to organizational learning by sharing regional insights and best practices Requirements What We Are Looking For: Essential: Portuguese fluency: Native‑level (written and spoken) Spanish fluency: Strong professional proficiency essential for Latin America‑wide work English fluency: Strong written and spoken English for global collaboration Analytical capability: Ability to understand complex research methodologies and engage with data‑driven analysis Stakeholder engagement experience: Proven track record of successfully building and managing partnerships with diverse organizations Regional expertise: Understanding of the Latin American sustainability landscape, policy processes, and institutional contexts Strategic thinking: Ability to identify opportunities, set priorities, and drive strategy in a dynamic regional context Communication skills: Can translate complex issues and data into compelling narratives for different audiences Right to work in Brazil Highly Valued: You will likely have 4‑6 years of professional experience in Brazil and/or Latin America with civil society, professional services, or public affairs organisations, ideally with a focus on engaging companies and financial institutions. Understanding of how businesses and industry associations engage with climate and environmental policy Project management experience coordinating multiple workstreams and stakeholders People management experience About Working At InfluenceMap We are a driven, mission‑focused team seeking a Program Lead who shares our passion for climate action and corporate accountability.
