What to expect on your journey with us: A solid and innovative company with a strong market presence A dynamic, diverse, and multicultural work environment Leaders with deep market knowledge and strategic vision Continuous learning and development Job Summary The FinOps Automation and AI Engineer will be a key technical resource responsible for integrating automation and artificial intelligence into the FinOps practice. Will develop and deploy intelligent solutions to manage and optimize cloud spending across multi‑cloud environments with a special focus on AI and ML workloads. This role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, FinOps principles, programming, and a strong understanding of how AI can drive proactive and autonomous cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop automated optimization strategies: Design and build automation scripts and workflows to implement cost‑saving strategies such as automated rightsizing, resource scheduling, and managing commitment‑based discounts like Savings Plans and Reserved Instances. Integrate AI for advanced insights: Utilize machine learning models (PLUS) and LLMs to move beyond reactive reporting. Develop predictive cost forecasting, perform intelligent anomaly detection, and generate contextual, automated explanations for spending fluctuations. Standardize and govern AI spending: Integrate and standardize AI‑related cloud spending into core cost governance frameworks. Create guidelines and best practices for cost‑effective AI service consumption. Enhance reporting and allocation: Develop and maintain automated data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and process cloud cost and usage data from various providers. Design and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards that accurately attribute costs to business units, teams, and products. Build AI‑powered tooling: Create and maintain self‑service tools and APIs that empower engineering teams with better visibility and control over their cloud budgets and forecasts. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or FinOps principles Full English Fluency Automation and cloud cost optimization, management (MUST) Experience Automation, AI (MUST) Cloud Architecture exp (Desirable) BS in Computer Science or similar Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex financial data and technical insights to both engineering and non‑technical stakeholders, including senior leadership. Technical Experience Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and API integration. (MUST) Deep cloud platform knowledge in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including their pricing models, APIs, and services. (MUST) Experience with cloud billing APIs and cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing APIs). (Desirable) Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform), containerized environments (Kubernetes or similar), and serverless architectures. (MUST) Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and the unique cost drivers of AI workloads (e.g., GPUs, token‑based APIs). Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to query, analyze, and summarize large datasets using tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI. Certifications: FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) or relevant cloud certifications (PLUS) Benefits This position comes with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
