Apply for the Brazil Distribution & Logistic Manager role at Prysmian . Team Overview & Responsibilities We are seeking a Logistics, Distribution, and Warehousing Manager to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, this position will be responsible for managing distribution and inbound/outbound logistics operations across three sites in Brazil, ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines, balancing supply and demand, and optimizing material, labor, equipment, and other resources. The role will have strong collaborations with Production, Sales, R&D, Purchasing, Customer Service, Security, Quality, and HSE departments. Main Responsibilities Manage inbound, outbound shipments, warehousing, and production supply operations according to demand. Operate logistics for both MTS and MTO inventory. Handle scrap management in alignment with production, HSE, and supplies. Size and enable resources needed to meet distribution requirements in line with S&OP. Manage internal and transportation operations while prioritizing personnel safety. Ensure material quality throughout handling and delivery to avoid rework and complaints. Anticipate operational needs and potential challenges with transportation service providers. Drive innovation and sustainability, identifying opportunities to reduce environmental impact. Plan and execute annual cost, investment, and efficiency initiatives to achieve set goals. Monitor logistics KPIs for OTD, Slow Movers, Logistics Costs, etc. Maintain accurate raw material and finished product inventories. Continuously improve logistics operation management tools in quality, cost, and deadline. Maintain daily distribution activity database and operating cadence with the team. Participate in ACC/ACO meetings for large projects to define logistics strategy. Monitor invoicing, shipping, and delivery backlog per S&OP. Share indicator targets and collaborate for target achievement. Comply with DOA and company Compliance guidelines and support the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA or advanced postgraduate degree a plus). Advanced English proficiency. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel. Hands‑on, results‑oriented with sense of urgency, proactiveness, and resilience. Proven experience in managing inbound/outbound logistics, material handling, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation management. Experience managing logistics operations teams.
