Growth Director – iomico | Electronics Design and Embedded Software Engineering We are an engineering service company specializing in IoT development and embedded technologies. As we expand our new team, we seek a skilled Middle/Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to join us in Brazil. As an Embedded Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded Linux drivers and kernel modules. You will work closely with our engineering team to create custom Linux distributions using Yocto and Buildroot, handle the boot process, including U-Boot, DTB, and kernel configuration, and build Root Filesystems. Additionally, you will be involved in bringing up embedded Linux boards and developing software in embedded C and C++. Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in embedded Linux drivers and kernel development. Proficiency with Yocto and Buildroot. Experience with boot loaders (U-Boot) and the boot process. Strong knowledge of Device Tree Blob (DTB) and kernel configuration. Experience in building and configuring Root Filesystems (RFS). Proven experience in bringing up boards using embedded Linux. Strong skills in embedded C and C++. Preferred Experience: Experience with BLE, WIFI, GSM, USB, and HDMI. OpenWRT, Zephyr. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English.
