We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team for Datacenter CIS (Central Infrastructure System) and Runtime operations support. Your responsibility will focus on the reliability, stability, extensibility, supportability, and security for the whole lifecycle of thousands of C4C solutions and configurations our customers have deployed on the new cloud-native SAP C4C Cloud platform. You will work collaboratively with Cloud providers e.g. AWS, GCP and internal teams e.g. GCID, S4, CX security and partners, ensuring high availability and performance of C4C cloud platform and customer application systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AWS, GCP, Converged Cloud Infrastructure and Runtime System Operations support.
  • Converged Cloud - CC+1 + S4 SM coordination.
  • Capacity Management, Audit, system upsizing and downsizing.
  • Datacenter setup, configuration and migration.
  • Incidents handling and on-call support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Work experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer, good knowledge and skills in AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and investigation for urgent cases or major incidents, able to lead the technical analysis.
  • Knowledge in Converged Infrastructure or SAP Converged Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Extensive working experience in operation support or project management.
  • Datacenter/System migration experience, knowledge of HANA DB, ERP is an asset.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks even under stressful conditions.
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or an equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS, Windows, Python, Ansible, Apache, API, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understand the security concepts, some experience in OS patching process.
  • Knowledge of Networking, DNS, LDAP, Firewall.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications would be an asset.
