The power generation market continues to grow and evolve given strong capacity demand signals that haven’t existed for over a decade. Our national Power Generation team is poised for growth, and we are seeking a qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer to support natural gas and renewable energy projects as Engineer of Record or Owner’s Engineer.

Locations include: Austin, Ann Arbor, Boise, Bismarck, Billings, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Irvine, Fort Worth, Houston, Honolulu, Kansas City, Madison, Minneapolis, Missoula, Omaha, Phoenix, Portland, Richmond, Raleigh, Sacramento/Folsom, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane, St Louis, Syracuse.

Responsibilities include: leading project mechanical teams, coordinating with other disciplines, monitoring project status, and supporting detailed design and owner’s engineer projects.

Preferred qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering, 15+ years in power generation design, experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, power systems, and project leadership.

Required qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years experience, PE license, proficiency in Power Sector design software, and a commitment to our inclusive culture.

HDR is dedicated to a diverse and inclusive workplace. We offer comprehensive benefits and a salary range of $108,661 - $204,250 depending on experience and location.
