Description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring continual access to innovation for our customers. We work on complex problems with many variables impacting the supply chain, and we seek talented individuals eager to contribute.

Data Center Services Procurement supports Data Center Global Services by obtaining the best services at the lowest costs, managing the full "Supplier Lifecycle" including Strategic Sourcing, Onboarding, Solicitation, Spending and Transaction Policy (S&TP) Compliance, contract management, supplier development, and parts of requisitioning and payment operations.

We are looking for a Procurement professional to support the Americas data center construction space. The role involves working with category managers on vendor qualifications, RFPs, data analysis, vendor performance dashboards, due diligence, and engineering services categories. The candidate should be collaborative, autonomous, highly analytical, strategic, and customer-focused. Success requires managing multiple projects, embracing Amazon’s Leadership Principles, and having an entrepreneurial, "get it done" attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily data entry to create purchase requisitions.
  • Become a subject matter expert on procurement systems and policies.
  • Manage supplier onboarding and qualification processes.
  • Handle tender events and support contract generation.
  • Develop and improve process and training documentation.
  • Contribute to dashboard development for metrics reporting.
  • Audit tools and processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Train team members on procedures related to systems and purchasing.
  • Submit your resume in English, as this role supports operations in the Americas.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 1+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Resume submission in English; intermediate English proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in requirement gathering and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
