We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the modern healthcare industry. The project: You will be joining the Booking team, contributing to a platform that simplifies healthcare appointment scheduling for millions of patients and providers. In this role, you’ll help shape how key information - such as insurance details - is collected and validated, ensuring a seamless booking journey. Your work will center on evolving data models, improving system performance, and strengthening the reliability of a high-volume booking system. By collaborating with experienced engineers, you’ll extend and optimize microservices in the booking domain, driving scalability, cost efficiency, and stability. This is an opportunity to apply deep technical expertise while making a meaningful impact in a distributed, innovation-driven environment. What you will do: - Building large-scale APIs and microservices, creating frictionless data flows that empower both patients and providers to access care and information in real time. Mentoring fellow engineers, supercharging team throughput through robust coding standards, automated workflows, and a culture of continuous improvement. Spearheading bold innovation, whether it’s adopting generative AI, exploring emerging data sources, or pioneering architectural strategies that keep the platform ahead in healthcare tech. Decomposing complex product challenges to drive sound design decisions. Collaborating with an agile team of engineers, product managers, and designers. Working with cutting-edge GenAI tools and technology. What you will bring: - Inspiration to positively impact the healthcare experience of millions of patients and providers. Ability to craft database schemas, implement REST APIs, and design event-driven queue and stream processing systems, ideally with C#, .NET Core, and AWS. A history of solid and well-rounded system design skills. Leadership by example in testing, deployment, and observability practices. Excellent communication skills: able to dive into technical detail with engineers while presenting clear solutions to non-technical audiences. Comfort working with distributed teams.
