Job Title We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Assurance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our data systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data quality assurance, with experience in data warehousing and reporting. They will be responsible for determining methods, flows, and procedures for better quality assurance and business processes. This includes creating and documenting test scripts to audit data integrity on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities To test newly developed applications by creating test scenarios and determining whether the delivered product meets the required business requirements. Analyze and resolve application and data issue problems as they arise. Document production processes and objects to allow for a better understanding for both the IT team and the user community. Requirements A minimum of 2 years of data quality assurance experience, preferably in data warehousing or reporting. 2 years of experience in quality assurance testing, preferably in the area of data integrity assessment. Preferably have at least 2 years of travel industry experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment where shifting priorities are common. Data analysis and troubleshooting skills with large amounts of data. Ability to synthesize and roll up information in various forms through the use of Structured Query Language (SQL) and procedural language (PL/SQL) on an Oracle database platform. Strong knowledge of relational databases and their inner workings. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve application and data issue problems quickly.
