Role Description and Expectations

We seek a valued team member to work in advertising, design, and communications, focusing on global health clients and brands. The Visual Design Pleno (Studio) is a key member of our São Paulo-based design studio, part of a global team across New York, California, London, and India. Your role involves supporting the Senior Visual Designer, executing established designs, maintaining best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

• Support visual design needs of global health brands with graphic designers, art directors, and assistants.
• Contribute to visual design excellence, adhering to brand guidelines and standards.
• Execute a variety of design tactics, including creating and updating visual content.
• Mentor and direct assistants to ensure high-quality work and a positive creative culture.
• Help establish efficient workflows and best practices for design systems.
• Design within health industry regulations, including updating existing pieces and creating new ones based on manuscripts.
• Lead the design and formatting of PowerPoint presentations, animations, templates, illustrations, infographics, and event materials.
• Assist in web page design, ensuring standards of HTML, usability, and accessibility.
• Prepare files for final release across print and digital mediums.
• Provide image retouching and manipulation services.
• Maintain and update production files, managing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Offer creative feedback and coaching, sharing industry knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, developers, and copywriters.

What you will bring:

• Strong art direction and graphic design skills across various mediums.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills.
• Excellent typographic and layout skills.
• Experience designing for print, digital, OOH, presentations, and videos.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Veeva, PowerPoint, and web standards.
• Leadership and managerial skills.
• Knowledge of current design trends and tools.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in integrating AI tools into work processes.
• Relevant education and 5+ years of related experience.
