This role is part of a dynamic data operations team at IQVIA, focused on analyzing and resolving data discrepancies, writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, and supporting data quality across healthcare analytics platforms. The team plays a critical role in ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency, directly contributing to IQVIA's mission of advancing healthcare through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshooting on open incidents/issues.
  • Explore data to identify discrepancies.
  • Document, communicate, and analyze data discrepancies.
  • Apply knowledge of operational processes (e.g., ITIL).
  • Identify issues in programming code and provide technical solutions or workarounds.
  • Effectively articulate findings, data trends, and conclusions.
  • Create SQL database queries to verify data requests, retrieve specific data sets, and validate results.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as:
    • Databricks
    • Hadoop
    • Spark (Scala-based)
    • Pyspark Python
    • Snowflake
    • Kubernetes
  • 2-3 years SQL programming and query writing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Hive, Impala, Dbeaver, Kafka, CML, Java.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and business analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand complex concepts and processes.
  • Self-motivated with initiative to learn and attend to client needs.
  • Effective communication skills across organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for data quality analysis.
  • Team player attitude.
