Data Analysis Test Engineer

Partner with the best: As a Data Analysis Engineer , you will report to the Qualification Manager and will be responsible for standardizing and optimizing the analysis of data from qualification tests of flexible pipes used in the oil & gas industry. The professional will be responsible for performing testing analysis and qualification activities, ensuring that the best flexible pipe system solutions are developed and validated to meet project requirements.

• Standardize, analyze and optimize the analysis of data generated from qualification tests.
• Perform analysis of test results and evaluate their impact on product qualification.
• Interface with the methodology team to support in the calibration methodologies and predictive models.
• Generate technical documents such as test plans, design basis, design premises, qualification plan, qualification report etc. within the NPI project scope.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for projects and/or assigned tasks in accordance with engineering policies and procedures.
• Interface with multidisciplinary group (qualification, methodology, analysis teams etc) to meet technical requirements and schedule within the NPI project scope (internal and external groups - clients and suppliers).
• Participate in meetings with clients to present and discuss the work performed.
• Make technical decisions based on appropriate knowledge and experience.
• Monitor and communicate activities status and significant developments within the NPI project scope.
• Assure that the work is being carried out in accordance with the company’s polices of compliance, HSE and security, reporting any non-conformity, accident, incident or any potential risk situation to any collaborator or the company.

• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Computer), Physics, Computer Science, Statistics or Applied Mathematics
• Strong experience in data analysis and interpretation of test results.
• Proficiency in Python, VBA, and programming for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• English proficient is required.

• Postgraduate (or in progress) studies or certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Experience in Testing and Qualification in the oil & gas industry, particularly with flexible pipe systems.
• Strong ability to structure, organize, and standardize engineering processes and continuous improvement.
• Proven analytical ability and attention to detail in handling technical data.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to lead initiatives with moderate scope and impact.
• Skilled in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
