Veritas Worldwide Field Operations Organization (WFO)
The WFO team are critical to Veritas’ success. This group engages with the customer from the first contact of discussing how Veritas can support the key business challenges through to implementation of the solution to supporting the technical teams internally.
The WFO organization works collaboratively to maintain a winning, ambitious and putting the customer first culture and the Leadership team lead by example, inspiring and motivating all. **Job Description**:
The Latin America Partner Sales Director plans, administers, guides and organizes the activities of a national channel sales force to meet and exceed profitable sales and earnings objectives. This includes developing and implementing specific national strategic plans to support annual and long-range plan objectives while providing leadership across direct reports and throughout the organization by collaboration, credibility, and accountability. The Latin America Partner Sales Director is also responsible for the effective development of a highly proficient partner sales team by building the skills and talents of direct reports through coaching, mentoring and the effective use of personal development plans. The Latin America Partner Sales Director is ultimately responsible for developing a strong eco-system aligning with, and supporting the strategic directions of Veritas in the region. The role is responsible for the regional channel team as well as engaging with all the region’s senior management and relevant management to deliver against short & long term goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Achieve/exceed annual revenue/margin plans while measuring/monitoring effectiveness of all sales programs and driving accountability to build the Veritas brand with existing national partners.
- Passionately lead, manage & develop the channel team in the region
- Maintain an understanding of the strategic directions of Veritas at a corporate & regional level in order to develop & execute an aligned channel strategy
- Creation and ownership of the regional channel plan including the effective development of existing and new partners
- Achievement of quarterly financial & non-financial targets
- Engagement with Veritas channel team, district managers, RVPs, field sales, pre-sales and Marketing, and support teams to execute the channel plan.
- Ownership of business relationship with key strategic partners.
- Oversee the channel team’s engagement with partners to:
- Structure each partner engagement, go-to-market strategy and negotiation of business terms
