Commissioning ManagerJob Profile Summary

The job involves coordinating and executing commissioning plans for large-scale greenfield data centers and retrofitting live data centers. The responsibilities can be segregated as follows:

What you'll be doing
  1. Project Management:
    1. Execute and track multi-facility, standards-based commissioning plans and schedules.
    2. Communicate effectively with both business operations and construction managers.
    3. Liaise with internal construction managers and external general contractors for planning and executing commissioning activities.
    4. Maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other tools to track commissioning projects.
    5. Track and update the project budget for all commissioning activities.
    6. Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing.
  2. Customer Interface:
    1. Support senior management in customer interactions, acting as a point of contact when management is unavailable.
  3. Process Management:
    1. Follow all commissioning processes.
    2. Meet schedules and due dates based on specific customer contract requirements.
  4. Reporting:
    1. Prepare commissioning test procedures and reports.
    2. Write comprehensive reports that include recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, lists of deficiencies, and equipment operation and maintenance manuals.
    3. Provide project-based feedback to Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment vendors.
  5. Vendor Management:
    1. Track the progress of external resources.
    2. Schedule and run commissioning meetings.
What we'll expect from you
  • Extensive experience in data center commissioning is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in a mission-critical environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Advanced English is a must.
