The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, and is also passionate about helping end users who are in need of help. You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, and be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. You will be an excellent communicator and fast learner in a supportive environment to grow your IT skills and expertise. This role will report to the Director of IT. About the Role You will be customer-facing and the first line of support; you own support and are passionate about providing an outstanding support experience to our employees via Slack, Jira, etc. We’re all Mac. You will troubleshoot, use the terminal, and make macOS work in the enterprise. You will procure and deliver technology equipment and own the onboarding experience for new employees and the retrieval of departing employees. You will design, test, build, and document programs, policies, tools, and improvements to existing knowledge. You will support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.) and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). You will contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.) and document solutions, create help articles, and automate routine tasks. You will manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents and balance help desk tickets with project work in Jira using agile methods. You will set and pursue your own objectives and key results aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc. Experience with open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; work with APIs to integrate systems. Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; familiarity with shipping/receiving hardware and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication across media; ability to convey ideas clearly and help users who are time-poor or frustrated without losing composure. Strong writing skills for tickets, email, and Slack. Clear, friendly, concise communication; sensitivity to different cultures; a focus on delivering a magical experience for others; security awareness (knowledge of PGP). Understanding of networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching); ability to methodically troubleshoot using OSI model layers. Self-management, ability to scope projects, and work across multiple teams. Strong organizational and task-management skills; comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete data. Nice to Haves Some familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and command-line interfaces. Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
