Corio Generation is a Green Investment Group (GIG) portfolio company, operating on a standalone basis. GIG is a specialist green investor within Macquarie Asset Management, part of Macquarie Group.
The core deliverables and responsibilities in this role will see you develop, implement and continuously improve the Americas WHSES Management System in line with Global WHSES MS framework, whilst providing support in respect to the management of any third-party reviews undertaken on the projects, including representatives of shareholders and Company internal and external stakeholders in Americas. You will frequently liaise with OWFs development teams to ensure that negative social and environmental impact and health and safety risks are considered in early phase of the projects and be the focal point for the WHSES assurance reviews requirements of each stage gate of the Americas project's lifecycle.
You will also be responsible for the WHSES Americas document control process and defining mechanisms to monitor the Sustainability and ESG targets. To do this effectively, you will be required to set up, audit and maintain an approved supplier system and processes in liaison with the Procurement, Engineering and project teams and ensure WHSES data collection and KPIs performance monitoring.
In addition, you will:
- Prepare the Americas WHSES reports (monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annually)
- Provide input for the monthly WHSES Global Newsletter
- Deliver periodic HSES updates, training and awareness sessions to the team in respect to lessons learned, incident updates, HSE Alerts and general HSES topics relevant to the business and projects
- Support implementation of the year WHSES Reward program
- Liaise with and maintain good communications with industry groups and relevant Government bodies
To be successful in this role, you will bring experience working across the Americas region and have a willingness to travel regularly to site(s) to complete field and HSE programme audits, work with project delivery teams, and support HSE due diligence activities. In addition to your ten plus years of offshore field HSE experience, you will strive for best practice and be certified as Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You will bring your experience in equipment design, contractors management as well as experience in managing EIAs and offshore wind development activities to O&M operations.
