Job Title A Cloud Solutions Architect plays a fundamental role in driving the adoption of cloud platform capabilities in collaboration with software engineering, architecture, and information security teams. This key position is responsible for developing and implementing cloud strategies that meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Automation: Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, and VPC; CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure seamless deployment and testing of applications; Observability & Monitoring: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Datadog and CloudWatch to ensure real-time visibility into application performance; Disaster Recovery & Security: Develop automated backup strategies, define disaster recovery plans, and implement security best practices to ensure business continuity; Workflow Automation & Integration: Build integrations to automate deployment processes, security checks, and operational workflows using Terraform and Helm Charts. Essential Skills: Experience in a DevOps role with hands-on experience with AWS services; Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes; Experience with CI/CD tools like CircleCI and GitHubActions; Familiarity with Ruby or Golang programming languages; Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Shell, or Python. Highly Desirable Skills: Networking & Security – Familiarity with DNS, Zero Trust, load balancing, IAM, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices; Monitoring & Observability – Experience using Datadog and CloudWatch; Experience with Kubernetes packet managers like Helm and Kubectl; AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate. Note: The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication skills.
