Comprehensive risk management is crucial in today's fast-paced financial landscape. A Senior Risk Management Officer plays a pivotal role in mitigating risks and ensuring the stability of an organization. The primary responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework that encompasses credit, market, liquidity, operational, and technology risks. This involves conducting prudential and capital risk assessments, including stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital adequacy evaluations. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience (minimum 7 years) in financial or prudential risk management, preferably within financial institutions, fintechs, or crypto/virtual asset firms. A strong background in Central Bank of Brazil regulations, capital adequacy standards, and VASP disclosure requirements is also essential. Key skills required for this role include expertise in market and liquidity risk frameworks, stress testing, and margin-account operations involving virtual assets. The candidate should possess strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills, with fluency in Portuguese and English. Additional requirements include holding a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred. The candidate must meet fit and proper standards with no disqualifying factors, including an unblemished reputation, knowledge of the line of business, and technical capability compatible with the functions to be exercised.
