We are seeking a proactive Safe Data Exception Program manager who will own the end-to-end governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Safe Data Exception program. About the Role The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and approving/rejecting exception requests from a Data Security perspective. He/She will achieve an annual 20% reduction in exceptions. This role involves resolving pending requests within the same day or the next business day. The candidate must document decisions with clear justification and communicate outcomes. Approval/Rejection rationales must be shared along with viable alternatives to protect data integrity and security. Daily incident management and dispute follow-up for Safe Data Exception reviews is also required. Additionally, this role involves tracking inquiries, ensuring timely responses, and proposing alternative solutions when requests are rejected. This position partners with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements, identify automation opportunities, and remove bottlenecks to prevent data exfiltration. A successful candidate will lead program enhancements by creating Knowledge Articles (KAs), instructions, and training materials for Safe Data Exception Review. They will maintain up-to-date process documentation, FAQs, and training resources, as well as manage the creation and delivery of comprehensive project documentation.
