Are you a professional seeking a new challenge? About the Job As an Events Specialist , you will be responsible for spearheading our presence and engagement initiatives within the local market. This role is crucial in building and nurturing strong relationships with key organizations, particularly shopping malls and local businesses, to drive brand visibility, foster community ties, and support our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, meticulous planning abilities, and a proactive approach to relationship-building. They will have a proven track record in event management and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key external organizations. Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities that align with our regional goals and brand values. Act as the primary point of contact and ambassador for our organization in regional interactions. Event Planning & Execution: Design, plan, and execute a diverse portfolio of regional events, activations, and promotional projects. Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, staffing, permits, and materials. Budget Management & Optimization: Develop, manage, and meticulously track budgets for all events and partnership initiatives. Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms and maximize ROI. Regional Representation & Communication: Represent us at regional industry events, meetings, and community gatherings. Network effectively to enhance brand perception and uncover new opportunities. Project Management: Lead and manage complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all events and partnerships. Provide comprehensive post-event reports and insights. Qualifications We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Events Specialist who possesses the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field. 5 years of proven experience in event management, community relations, and/or partnership development. Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and optimizing resources for events. Strong track record of building and nurturing successful relationships with diverse organizations and stakeholders. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to deliver engaging presentations. Proactive, results-oriented, and highly organized with meticulous attention to detail. Fluency in Portuguese and Mandarin is mandatory. Fluency in English is a plus. Willingness and ability to travel locally as required. Additional Considerations Experience in the e-commerce or fashion retail industry is preferred. Familiarity with the regional market landscape, including key shopping centers and local organizations, is also beneficial. Experience presenting to large groups or external partners is an asset.
